About Kathleen Nicolini

I am the president of Favor Human Resources Consulting. We provide guidance ranging from workforce processes to compensation programs. Departments I led earned distinctions as departments of excellence and awards for best practices that were models for others culminating in the honor of earning awards for professional management excellence. My profession services the needs of a diverse workforce. I seek to provide simple management solutions to complex management problems©. My clients are employers –but employers seeking to serve their employees so they may serve their customers whether they are a patient, a production line worker or consumer. Each seeks assistance to excel. My career is evolving. I don’t believe in standing still and I am not afraid of risk. Consulting or possibly being a Vice President or Director of Human Resources are all options, but share one common goal –delivery of excellence. To learn more see www.FavorHR.com.

Interests

I have many interests that have been refined over the stages of my life. My first and favorite interest is my son, Nathan. I have enjoyed watching him grow from a precocious kindergartner (who told his teacher that his mommy never told him his last name and that weekends consisted of me sleeping on the couch watching cartoons-which occurred only in his imagination) into a fine young college student. I recently lost weight. My celebration is enjoying biking the trails, and walks in the parks. I recently did the Pedestrian Bridge and highly recommend it. My favorite activity is swimming. I have done weights and will be doing more to build that fat burning muscle. I have good friends and relatives with whom I spend my leisure time. We have laughed together and cried together (divorces, loss of parents, jobs and the events of life). We all continue to move forward to cry again and most importantly laugh and be there for each other.

It sounds like you are in a difficult situation after seeking assistance. The information you provide is a snapshot of your experience and solutions are influenced by a variety of factors (many unknown). Suggestions I have would be continue to explore solutions and opportunities to demonstrate your ability to perform your duties. There are disparities and/or gaps between what an employer is required to do and what am employee may want. If you have a job coach or counselor/therapist that you are working with in your recovery they may be a resource for you. I appreciate you don’t want to quit. Having said that explore options that are in your best interest. The people assisting you with your recovery and transition to work may be able to offer you insight having access to full details on the specifics of your situation. I wish you much success.
