Collins stadium is located between 20th and 23rd Streets and L and M Streets. It includes an artificial turf playing field, synthetic surface track, scoreboard, home/visitor grandstands, home/visitor concession buildings (housing restrooms, team rooms and equipment storage), new tennis courts and expanded parking.
The South High School Stadium Renovation – Collin Field project was a collaborative effort between Omaha Public Schools and Heritage Services. Before the renovation, Collin Field, known as “The Hole”, sat in a natural bowl at 23rd and “L” Streets and was used as South High’s track and practice football field.
