Zack has worked a wide variety of jobs in the auto care industry, but he can sum up his approach to car detailing in just three words: QUALITY not QUANTITY.

Z.I.P.’s Detail Center (1324 South Saddle Creek Road) stands for Zack’s Important People. This auto detailing business is a “one man show,” and with the help of a few friends, Zack hopes to take care of his important people, his customers, while giving back to the community.

“All I ever did for the last 10 years is just detail cars, clear cars, polish cars…it’s what I like to do.”

Detailing is a labor intensive process that keeps a vehicle looking its best while protecting its value. Detailing is for owners that care about their vehicles and want to receive the maximum sale price they can when they go to sell their vehicle, and Z.I.P.’s Detail Center is for customers that are tired of large auto centers that are not committed to quality. Oh, did we mention they do pick ups and deliveries!

What is detailing?

Auto Detailing at Z.I.P.’s - Before and AfterCar detailing involves cleaning the interior and exterior of a vehicle, and applying products that will protect the vehicle and preserve its look.

An interior detail ($60 – $85) consists of a carpet/seat shampoo, scrub of all plastic panels (dash, doors, etc.), conditioner application, cleaning of leather seats, floor mat cleaning, and streak-free, spotless interior windows.

An exterior detail ($60 – $85) begins with a hand wash. Unlike other shops, Z.I.P.’s only uses hand mitts, not machines. The wheels and tires are cleaned, and the exterior surfaces are polished and buffed before the application of a carnauba wax.

Buy a complete interior/exterior detail and SAVE! Only $100 – $150 depending on the size of the detail!

Express details cost only $50 and are a great way of maintaining a car’s clean look after a complete detail. They are recommended every 3 – 6 months.

Window Tinting

Z.I.P.’s is proud to offer 3M tints in their window tinting and is only shop in Omaha offering tail light tinting. Tail light tinting involves spraying a permanent tinting chemical on your vehicle’s tail lights for a unique, custom look. Says Zack:

"There is not one shop in Omaha that uses 3M Window Tint or any good quality tint and does it for that cheap."

Current pricing is $120 for a 2 door car complete tint and $140 for a 4 door car tint (includes a free wash!).
