Playing with Fire
Playing with Fire began in 2004 as a gift to the citizens of the City of Omaha. It is a FREE concert, featuring the best in jazz, blues, soul, R & B, and rock music. Each year, thousands flock to the Lewis & Clark Landing along the banks of the Missouri River, making each date of this unique concert series special.
Touted as the best music event held in Omaha, the series features family-friendly concerts throughout the summer. A "free will donation" of $5 to $10 will be requested at the gate, with 25% of the total raised being donated to the Omaha Food Bank.
BluesEd, a youth musicianship development program, opens each concert in the series. For many of these young artists, the chance to perform before such a large crowd is a dream come true. Come early and support these teenage artists!
