EmailFood Bank for the Heartland’s Celebrity Chef fundraiser has always showcased talented, nationally recognized chefs, and this year’s featured chef is no exception. George Duran is a professionally trained chef, author of Take This Dish and Twist It, television and radio entertainer and host of TLC’s Ultimate Cake Off. He is sure to be a crowd-pleaser at the tenth annual Celebrity Chef fundraiser!
Presented by ConAgra Foods, Celebrity Chef will be held February 24 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in La Vista. Longtime Food Bank supporters, Kate and Sandy Dodge, are the honorary chairmen. A sell-out crowd of 900 guests is anticipated at the event. The evening will include a silent auction during the cocktail hour and a cooking demonstration by Chef Duran followed by a sit-down dinner and a live auction.
Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $125 each.
