Downtown Blues hosts some of the coolest in town, with live music seven nights a week. Despite friends waiting in the Old Market, walking by the club on a warm Wednesday evening, we were called to the club’s open door like sailors to the sirens: soulfinger’s thick, rollicking bass spilling out onto the sidewalk in a hot, messy funk.
