Playing with Fire began in 2004 as a gift to the citizens of the City of Omaha.  It is a FREE concert, featuring the best in jazz, blues, soul, R & B, and rock music. Each year, thousands flock to the Lewis & Clark Landing along the banks of the Missouri River, making each date of this unique concert series special.

Playing with Fire - on Omaha's RiverfrontPlaying with Fire - on Omaha’s RiverfrontTouted as the best music event held in Omaha, the series features family-friendly concerts throughout the summer. A "free will donation" of $5 to $10 will be requested at the gate, with 25% of the total raised being donated to the Omaha Food Bank.

BluesEd, a youth musicianship development program, opens each concert in the series. For many of these young artists, the chance to perform before such a large crowd is a dream come true. Come early and support these teenage artists!
