Email"Winter Solstice III" is an annual New Age Holiday concert, held at The Strauss Center For The Performing Arts in Omaha NE. The concert includes beautiful arrangements of Holiday favorites, and features Donovan Johnson, piano. Other musicians include George Laughery, bass; John Rosseter, drums and Doran Schmidt, keyboards. This years production will show over two hours of uplifting music, and is proud to present Doc James, tenor and Michael Murphy, Native American Flute as the opening artists, along with special guest Sharon North Jones, soprano. Showtime is at 7:30pm with doors opening at 7pm.
Donovan’s CD’s will be available at the concert. Bring a canned food item, and recieve $2 off of any Donovan Johnson CD purchase, including "Winter Solstice: Celebrate The Season!" (limit one per person) All canned goods will go to the Salvation Army Holiday Food Drive. Discounts available to parties of 8 or more, online purchases, and to children 12 and under. Children under the age of 5 will be admitted for free.
