Maj. Gen. Daryl L. Bohac, adjutant general for the state of Nebraska, will be the keynote speaker at MCC’s annual Veterans Day Celebration on Nov. 11. As adjutant general, Bohac is the senior uniformed National Guard officer responsible for formulating, developing and coordinating policies, programs and plans affecting more than 4,800 Army and Air National Guard personnel.
The Papillion-La Vista South High School Navy Junior ROTC will conduct a POW/MIA display and presentation and post colors at the event. Chief Master Sgt. Gary F. Sparks of the Nebraska National Guard will serve as the master of ceremonies. A reception will follow the program. The event is a chance for the community to honor veterans and their families.
