VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Teen Maze is a life size "Game of Life" that will address subjects such as underage drinking, financial independence and decision making.

Descriptions for Teen Maze Volunteer Positions (5/3/2013)
Greeter (Up to 3)
Volunteer will go onto each bus and welcome students to the maze. Script will be provided.

Parking Attendants (Up to 6)
Volunteers will direct the parking of both buses and volunteers.

Announcer/Timekeeper (Up to 4)
Volunteer will announce over loud speaker when it is time for groups to move to next track.

Registration (Up to 12)
Volunteer will check in other volunteers and handout T-shirts. Registration volunteers will also give volunteer post-survey after their shift has ended. Shifts begin 15 minutes sooner than all other volunteers.

Outside Maze Support: Ticket Masters (Up to 16)
Volunteers will distribute materials, regulate times groups enter the maze, and organize post surveys to give to students as they finish the maze. There is some down-time with this shift, which means your assistance could be used in other aspects. Involves standing and reaching to give materials to students.

Guide (Up to 24)
Volunteers will walk students to and from buses and through the maze. Volunteers will also oversee students filling out survey sheets once they are done in the maze.
Floater (Up to 6)
By volunteering for this position, you are agreeing to fill any position that is needed in the maze. If someone cancels or there is not a volunteer for any specified spot, we will use the floaters to fill those spaces. Volunteer must be willing to adapt and able to move about the maze.

Volunteers should be ages 16 and up. There will be a training and orientation June 2nd or 3rd from 6-8pm.

Interested individuals should contact Bobbi Jo Howard at bhoward1 [at] mccneb [dot] edu
