Celebrate local art, music, history and stories of North Omaha on Memorial Day with the first series of Neighborhood Tapestries, part of PlayFest’s week-long theatre festival. Making a lively debut in North Omaha, the Great Plains Theatre Conference event will be coordinated and directed by Denise Chapman. Art displays, music and food will begin at 6:30 p.m. and storytelling will follow at 7:30 featuring some of the community’s most vibrant personalities.
