The 2010 Walk MS event is presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska. You can choose one of three routes and then when you get back enjoy lunch by Olive Garden and free admittance into the Health & Wellness expo. This is the kick off event at the civic the Health & Wellness expo which opens at 11:00 am. Free T-shirt if you raise $75; kids 8 and under only have to raise $15.
Start Location:
Omaha Civic Auditorium Exhibition Hall (Parking is Free). Start line is at the North entrance of the Exhibition hall on 17th & Chicago.
Walk Routes - Downtown Omaha
1 mile, 2 mile or 5K (3 miles) route option.
Walk MS Omaha Schedule
- 9:00 am - Registration - outside North entrance of the Civic Auditorium Exhibition Hall located at 1804 Capitol Avenue
- 9:00 am - Team photos by Billings Photography (outside)
- 9:50 am - Opening ceremonies featuring “Dr. Fitness” Mr. Adam Shafran.
- 10:00 am - Walk begins select your route from one of the attached maps.
- 11:00 am - Lunch provided by Olive Garden and music from the High Heel Band (inside the Exhibition Hall- Stage Area)
- 1:00 pm - Event ends; all participants and volunteers are welcome to attend the Health and Wellness Expo at the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
Note: Strollers and Dogs are welcome on the route but pets are not allowed inside the Civic Auditorium.
