Jazz on the Green: Praire Cats and Grand Marquis

July 29th will feature Prairie Cats and Grand Marquis. Local Omahans Prairie Cats formed in 1998 as seven-piece band delivering an all-original mix of swing, jazz, and jump-blues. They will be joined by Kansas City jitterbug swing band Grand Marquis. Jazz on the Green returns for the 26th year! Formerly held at the Joslyn Museum, Jazz on the Green has moved for 2010 and is now being held at Turner Park, the centerpiece of Mutual of Omaha’s new Midtown Crossing complex.
