July 8th will feature
Pancho Sanchez. Sanchez, who previously performed in Omaha at the
Holland Center in 2008, won a Grammy for for his album,
Latin Soul. A conga player and Latin band leader, Sanchez’ music also mixes in Afro-Cuban and bebop jazz influences.
Jazz on the Green returns for the 26th year! Formerly held at the
Joslyn Museum, Jazz on the Green has moved for 2010 and is now being held at
Turner Park, the centerpiece of Mutual of Omaha’s new Midtown Crossing complex.
