Jazz on the Green: Orquesta Alto Maiz

August 5th will feature Orquesta Alto Maiz. Orquesta Alto Maiz formed at the University of Northern Iowa way back in 1986. Since then, the 11 piece band has blazed a unique trail across the Heartland, bringing their special blend of Latin dance music, salsa, to countless fans during their 20 year history.  Jazz on the Green returns for the 26th year! Formerly held at the Joslyn Museum, Jazz on the Green has moved for 2010 and is now being held at Turner Park, the centerpiece of Mutual of Omaha’s new Midtown Crossing complex.
