"Envisioning Spirituality"
Artists consider faith and belief in December exhibit
Sunday, December 1, 2013 - 8:00am - Sunday, December 29, 2013 - 6:00pm
Curator Dorothy Tuma has selected works from more than 30 artists who were challenged to consider spirituality for an upcoming exhibit. “Envisioning Spirituality” is the result of ideas and experiences Tuma has considered for several years. Cutting across faith traditions and cultural backgrounds, artists examine faith, belief, religion and the basis for their own creativity. The show will run Dec. 1 through Dec. 29, 2013, in the 1301 Gallery, Hot Shops Art Center, 1301 Nicholas St. in Omaha. The opening celebration will be 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at the gallery.
