Earth Day: Recycled Electronics to Aid Refugees

Metropolitan Community College will collect and recycle small electronics as part of its celebration of Earth Day on April 22.
Laptops, cell phones, PDAs, iPods or MP3 players, video games and video game consoles, digital cameras, DVDs and inkjet or laser cartridges will be accepted at recycle drop boxes at the South Omaha Campus Connector and Fort Omaha Campus, Building 10.
Proceeds from this recycling project, organized through Recycle4Refugees, will go to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and support efforts to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees.
