Fall’s approaching, ready to snuggle up with a good book? Metropolitan Community College kicks off the 6th annual Diversity Matters Book Series starting with “Mexico South,” a travel book on the history and daily life of the 117-mile area between Juchitan and Coatzacoalcos, by Migual Covarrubias. Participation is free and open to the public. Meet discussion facilitators, get the list of books and scheduled meeting times and enjoy refreshments at the kick-off meeting. Copies of books will be available for purchase. Participants can read books prior to the discussions or just come to share in dialogue. Bring food or beverages to enjoy during the discussions. The books are available at MCC libraries in limited quantity.
