More women die of heart disease than the next four leading causes of death combined, but we can beat our No. 1 killer by making it our mission to save lives. The American Heart Association’s annual Go Red for Women Expo presented by Methodist Health System is the signature event for the year-round Omaha Go Red For Women campaign.
In addition to raising lifesaving funds for research and education, the expo offers breakout sessions addressing a variety of health topics, silent auction with “purse-inality”, a heart healthy dinner, health screenings, survivor testimonials, and a keynote speech by Connie Spellman.
Go Red For Women empowers women to reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke and lead longer, healthier lives.
