Hot Shops Holiday Open House, Day 1

Hot Shops Art Center will be holding its 10th Annual Holiday Open House, spanning two days of art sales, demonstrations, talks, and live music, Saturday, December 4th and Sunday, December 5th. The Hot Shops artists will open their studios to the public, offering a rare glimpse into their process, including drawing, painting, print-making, photography and digital imagery, sculpture, installations, pottery, glass art, weaving, custom furniture, and clay, iron, brass, and aluminum cast architectural pieces.  From sculpture to glazing and more, many Hot Shops artist’s will reveal the technique behind their craft with demonstrations: ARTISTS LOC MEDIUM TIME Bruning Sculpture 001 bronze pouring Saturday & Sunday: 3:00-3:30 Loken Forge 002 iron forging ongoing Crystal Forge 004 glass blowing ongoing Hot Shops Pottery 003 thrown pottery ongoing Many more demos will take place in artists’ studios Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served in individual galleries. Live music will be played at various locations throughout the Hot Shops.  FREE parking is available at the Mastercraft building.
