It’s time to grab your book-loving gal pals and join Emily Giffin, the nationally acclaimed author of the New York Times bestselling novels Something Borrowed, Something Blue, Baby Proof, Love the One You’re With, and Heart of the Matter, benefiting the Junior League of Omaha’s newest project, “A Book of My Own”.   This project collects and distributes new and gently used books to at-risk children ages 0-14.
The event will take place at the Aksarben Cinema, 2110 South 67th Street, on the evening of Thursday, September 8th.  VIP cocktail hour will begin at 6:00 PM with a meet-and-greet with Emily Giffin.   General Admission will begin at 7:00 PM with a cocktail hour with the author, followed by a presentation by Emily Giffin and screening of her best-selling novel, Something Borrowed, starring Kate Hudson and John Krasinski.
This event is respectfully an adult affair.

Visit the Junior League of Omaha E-Store and Click on the "Chick Lit" logo. Advance ticket purchases are suggested, as capacity is limited!
Tickets: 
$60 - General Admission ticket includes cocktail hour with drink ticket, hors d’oeuvres, book signing with Emily Giffin (books available for $10 each), followed by the screening of her movie, "Something Borrowed."
$100 - VIP ticket includes cocktail hour, meet-and- greet with photo opp with Emily Giffin, open bar, and early access to seating for presentation. Limited number of VIP tickets available!
Schedule of Events:
6:00 PM - VIP cocktail hour, meet-and-greet with photo opp with Emily Giffin.
7:00 PM - General Admission cocktail hour and book signing with Emily Giffin
8:00 PM - Presentation by Emily Giffin. Screening of "Something Borrowed" will follow!
