Spring Bark in the Park
The Omaha Dog Park Advocates are proud to announce the 7th Annual Spring Bark in the Park event will take place on April 30th 2011 from 12:00 – 3:00pm at Hefflinger Dog Park (111th & Maple). Guests are invited to bring their favorite four-legged friends (and their leashes) to enjoy a howling good time and raise funds for the park’s continued operation.
Planned activities include: Make Your Own Paw-Casso, Musical Hoola-Hoops, Tic Tac Paw, Bobbing for Dawgs, and many more. Dog-friendly vendors will provide more information about canine toys and tools, rescue groups will feature dogs available for adoption, and the first 400 dogs will receive goody bags. Numerous raffles and merchandise will also be available, so attendees are encouraged to bring extra cash.
- Registration begins at 12:00pm, at the park on the day of the event with $10.00 for one dog (or two dogs for $15.00). Limit of two dogs per person.
- Hefflinger Dog Park has five acres as an “All Dog Area” and a separate two acre area for small dogs. Funds raised by the Omaha Dog Park Advocates will add a number of amenities to the park including shelters and landscaping for the thousands of dog that visit the park each year to enjoy.
