Come meet your neighbors! Join us as we explore the role of sacred texts in Hinduism, Roman Catholicism and Protestantism traditions. Learn about the various approaches for interpreting and understanding them as we look at two stories central to these traditions: the birth stories of Krishna and Jesus.
No previous study of Hinduism or Christianity is necessary. Participants will be asked to do light reading in preparation for participating in this program.
An optional tour of the Temple will follow the study circle from 5:00 - 5:30 pm
This event is open to the public. We will limit the study circle to 70 participants. Register now as space is limited. Registration closes on Monday, February 7, 2010.
Click here to register at eventbrite.
