EmailRAW:Omaha presents “Expressions” at Sokol Auditorium on Thursday, May 23rd 7:00p-11:00p. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Tickets are on sale now at www.rawartists.org/omaha/expressions.
“Expressions” is a showcase of local Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding area artists. The evening will include live entertainment in music, dance, poetry, comedy and a fashion show. Fine artists will have pop-up galleries showing their work in photography, art, accessories and more.
RAW:natural born artists is an independent arts organization, for artists by artists. We are a community made up of creative individuals, with 78 locations across the United States and Australia.
Our mission is to provide independent artists within the first 10 years of their career with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity. Every other month we put together these collaborative showcases, and at the end of each season, we hold RAWards. During a two month-process, we ask the community, a panel of judges and the nation-at-large to vote for their top five favorite artists of the year.
